Layout & Design

While we’re specifically interested in Mr XBet’s bookmaker, it’s worth noting that is only part of their story. In addition, they also offer a top class live casino, virtual casino, virtual sports and lottery. And unlike many of their competitors, they place the same level of emphasis on each; none of them having the feeling they have been added to Mr XBet’s menu of options as an afterthought. In terms of presentation, each offers the punter a very pleasant betting experience, helped by a standardised style and tone that runs throughout the site.

The site’s homepage offers a rolling selection of ad links to the site’s exciting wares but is headed by a horizontal row offering the punter; ‘Casino, ‘Live Casino’, ‘Sports’, ‘Live Sports’, ‘Virtual Sports’ and ‘Lottery’. Obviously, we’re concentrating on the Bookmaker.

In terms of aesthetics, it’s classy and stylish with a classic black background, but it’s the site’s mechanics which are most impressive. Every link works, it’s intuitive, and for us – at least at the time of this review – it was rapid. It follows the tried and tested left sidebar/main body/ right sidebar format, which, to be fair, has become the norm for a reason.

The left sidebar is headed by three quick-links that fast-track the bettor to events that are due to start imminently, later today or are already in progress. A single click on any of them fills the main body with a single betting line for each event under that category and, in addition, offers a link to other bet types. Conveniently the number of markets available for each line are also clearly defined and, if clicked upon, opens up a huge array of bets, ranging from (using football as the example) over/under, correct scores, handicaps, Asian handicaps and lots of different specials.

A single click on any bet takes it instantly to the betting slip – where you then add your stake – and your bet is done. Literally instantly.

Returning to the left sidebar, it offers a further list of ‘Quick Links’, which is, in fact, a list of every single soccer league for which it offers markets, and it’s incredible. It ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the Champions League to the German Regional South-West division; a total of 66 different leagues on offer at the time of this review!

In addition to this huge array of football markets (over 38,000), Mr XBet also covers many other sports – 22 in total, ranging from Aussie rules to futsal to volleyball. Included in this are ‘specials’, which can include almost anything and at the time of writing included the Eurovision Song Contest! Also included in the 22 listed sports is horse racing, but no greyhounds.

The main body lists the popular events of the day and those upcoming. The format remains consistent with the lines offered elsewhere on the page, with a single win/draw line being opened up with a single click to reveal a whole plethora of different bets; each one again just a single click away from being transported to the betting slip.

The page is divided into blocks per sport and at the time of this review, it offered upcoming markets for football, tennis, basketball and ice hockey.

The live betting options are impressive and while there are no live streaming facilities, there are some very good in-game data and graphics available, all of which feed nicely through to a one-click betting option. We’d particularly recommend taking a look at their in-game tennis graphics; almost like being present at the match!

The right-hand sidebar is of the minimalistic variety. It is headed by the betting slip and underneath is a particularly enticing looking box that offers, via a pull-down menu, a choice of in-house mini-games: Starburst Mini, Thunderstruck, Mini Blackjack, Mini Roulette and Mad Mad Monkey Mini.

The page is extremely well designed and offers a very nice betting experience.

Sports Markets & Odds

As mentioned under ‘Layout & Design’ section, there are huge numbers of markets and different sports available and a very good depth of betting options. Although based in Central America, Mr XBet talks to a worldwide audience, specifically European football fans.

Their coverage of other sports, however, is impressive with tennis, basketball and ice hockey (and NFL during the season) offering the punters literally hundreds of markets.

The site is also very strong on international sports and tournaments, with the World Cups and European Championships being given particular prominence leading up to and during the events.

At the opposite end of the popularity spectrum e-sports and snooker markets are also available to the discerning punter.

In terms of offering value, Mr XBet Bookmaker is right up there with the big hitters. At the time of this review, their upcoming Bundesliga fixture odds compiled to an average of just over 105% – at the bottom end of the industry standard of between 105% and 106%. In other words, don’t think twice about using this site!

Welcome Bonuses

Customers who are new to Mr XBet are eligible to receive a 100% bonus up to €100, or their chosen currency equivalent. It’s a fairly complicated arrangement and is only awarded manually on request, and the punter must completely use up their deposits in order to claim the bonus, but it’s worth making the effort.

It requires the better to wage 6x on selections with odds of 1.60  or greater, and all within a 20-day timescale. There is also a monthly sports bonus offer of a 50% bonus of up to €100.

Customer Services/Responsible Gambling

Mr XBet bookmaker takes its responsibilities for ethical gambling seriously and has a full page on the site on ‘maintaining control’ and identifying if you have a problem. In addition, they offer advice on setting limits, self-exclusion and the counselling organisations that punters can contact if they feel they need help. That they take this so seriously is to be applauded.

Customer contact is limited to between 9 am and 9 pm (GMT) but nevertheless, the quality of help and assistance on offer is very good and can be done via email or live chat – which can be accessed by the ‘Live Chat’ (green) icon on the bottom right corner of any page.

Mobile & Tablet

Mr XBet bookmaker is a mobile-optimized site and if you prefer to bet on the go, on a phone or tablet, you are presented with a configuration that is basically a mini-version of the desktop site. It works perfectly for both iOS and Android and offers an excellent customer experience in terms of navigation and responsiveness. There are no Apple and Android apps available, but the quality of the optimization is such that this presents few problems, other than the inconvenience factor of having to use a browser.

Payouts

Cash-out is an automated process on Mr XBet and so this is generally at the speedy end of the spectrum, with pay-outs usually processed within 24 hours.

Final Verdict

Let’s not mess about, Mr XBet bookmaker is a quality site. It’s slick, intuitive and simply offers the punter a really good betting experience. It’s backed by some high-quality software, which provides a solid base from where it thrives.

The range of sports on offer is impressive – particularly if you’re a football fan – and so too the depth of bets on offer. You name your bet and there’s a very good chance Mr XBet will offer it. The fact there are no live streams is mitigated by some wonderful in-game graphics and data, giving the punter everything they need to place their bet.

The lack of a 24/7 customer services facility is not ideal but what they do provide is a quality service for those with any queries and a very snazzy and efficient live chat facility. In summary, we have no problem in recommending Mr XBet bookmaker to anyone who loves sports betting online. It ticks all the right boxes.
