It was immediately obvious early on in our Betory review that the site’s focus was split between both sports betting and casino. This is pretty common at most top betting sites in the Netherlands, and so we knew what to expect when we checked out the promotions.

100% Safe and Secure

We did a bit of digging during the research phase of our Betory review, as we only ever assess 100% legitimate sites. If we spot any red flags, we’ll highlight them immediately, as there’s nothing more important when joining a bookie than your safety.

Thankfully, Betory is safe and legit. If you look towards the bottom of the official website, you’ll see a little note stating that the rights of the website belong to a company called Blue Click Limitada. This parent company is located in Costa Rica, which is where it ticks off its licensing boxes.

There are a handful of countries and organisations you’ll see come up repeatedly when looking at reviews of the best sports betting sites. This includes the UK (and UKGC), the Malta Gaming Authority, and plenty of gambling sites based out of both Curacao and Costa Rica.

Betory is safe and legit

It’s true that these last two areas have a slightly more liberal attitude to licensing than the stringent UKGC, but they’re still respected authorities in the betting space.

They’re divided into tabs. Click on ‘Player Props’ and you’ll see every single player listed for each market, like the number of passes or shots on target. This is much more detailed that many of the best betting sites out there.

On the right-hand side, there’s a graphic which feeds you live data during games. But, unlike most sites, this one is super detailed. You’ll see seven tabs that you can cycle through to find information such as recent form, league position, head-to-head records, how often they win by X goals and so on. It’s really useful stuff, and you can use it to make better-informed bets.

Live betting at Betory is awesome, largely because of the masses of useful in-game data you get, but also thanks to the excellent interface. Or, in plain English, the website just looks great.

It has a dark theme and everything is neatly organised into sections and sub-menus. We found ourselves navigating straight to the pages we wanted intuitively throughout our Betory review.

There’s no app, but you can easily hop on your phone and just visit the usual URL. This is the way most modern betting sites do things these days, so we didn’t really see the lack of app as a drawback.

The fact that they haven’t created a mobile app, because they know most players are comfortable on a phone’s browser, but have gone for the full desktop app shows you that they know what we want. And they get top marks for it.
