TLCBet Summary

Our experts have rated this site as not recommended. Check out our top betting sites instead!

TLCbet Sports is an online bookmaker under the same umbrella as other betting sites such as 12bet, 138.com and Fun88. Formerly TLC188, this gaming operator initially targeted the Asian market (there is Asian writing above the TLC logo on the website), and now they have a share of the European sector.

The company are licensed in both the United Kingdom by the UK Gambling Commission and also by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and have signed up for IBAS (a third party company who provide decisions on disputes between players and bookmakers), so seem like a legitimate operation. The purpose of this review is to look into the different aspects of TLCbet’s service, and decide whether they should be recommended to the bettors of this world. Let’s jump right in.

What Does The Site Look Like?

The homepage of the TLCbet website offers players the choice of the bookmaker or the casino. A black, white and red theme is utilised (red is a popular colour in Asia). The centre of the page is populated by a list of the live betting for the different sports. There is also the betting highlights and ‘last minute bets’, which enables bettors to access events starting imminently. The left hand side of the page plays host to the ‘quick picks’ and the list of sports and the right column has the betting slip and live scores.

TLCbet sports have a statistics section which covers all of the sports on the website. Customers are also able to flick between fractional and decimal odds at the top of the page. Overall the site is definitely functional, intuitive and easy to navigate around and gets the thumbs up.

Promotions

Disappointingly, TLCbet don’t have any sign up bonuses or concessions for new customers. They reserve all of their promotions for the slots players. The company have previously offered sign up bonuses, so perhaps it is just a temporary situation not to have anything available. Either way, it is slightly disappointing for there to be no sort of incentive for bettors to sign up with TLCbet sports.

Sports Markets & Odds

TLCbet offer the following sports to clients; football, horse racing, golf, tennis, American football, Aussie rules, badminton, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, cricket, cycling, darts, e-sports, floorball, handball, ice hockey, MMA, motor racing, rugby league, rugby union, snooker & pool, specials, speedway, table tennis, triathlon, triathlon, volleyball and winter sports.

TLCbet’s football coverage is fantastic. There are odds on over 190 different domestic leagues around the world. The English fayre goes down as far as the Ryman Premier, and the depth is good in other countries as well – with odds for Polish Youth games, Icelandic first division action and the Ugandan Premier League.

In addition to 1X2 betting, most games have an extensive number of additional bets – there are an average of over 100 extra bet types for customers in top leagues such as the English Premier League. The odds for the top tier of English football are good – with total book percentages working out to 104%. Naturally, they become more conservative in less well known countries/competitions – for example, Algerian Cup matches worked out to 110% (still not terrible).

The early odds for the horse racing hover around industry standard. For a 10 runner contest, two hours before the off, the total book percentage was 120.4%, around a 2% over round per runner. Bettors can wager on the win market but also on the straight forecast/reverse forecast market.

NHL ice hockey games in the USA are very competitively priced, with average book percentages of 103.5-104%. There is also a great number of additional markets for bettors to get their teeth stuck into. For instance, in the Buffalo Sabres v Toronto Maple Leafs game, there was 101 extra bet types on top of the moneyline odds. These bets included over/under, handicap betting, correct score, both teams to score 2 goals etc. – bettors really do have a great deal of choice. Basketball odds are not quite so competitive (typically around 106%), but the margins sit at around the industry average.

Betting On The Move

TLCbet sports have a mobile optimised site that is compatible with a wide range of handheld devices. The site loads automatically and customers are greeted on the home screen with the option to look at the bookmaker or the casino. Once the sports page loads, customers can flick between the sports via a scrolling horizontal menu bar. There are live and upcoming events as well as betting highlights in the centre of the page.

When a player wants to load money on their account or withdraw, they can click the icon in the top left hand corner of the screen and access the account features. When a bet is selected, an icon will appear at the bottom of the screen and will flash with the number of selections in the bet slip. The app is easy to use on the go and customers can quickly and efficiently get their bets on from their mobile phone.

Verdict

TLCbet sports have done a lot right with their bookmaker and offer players some decent betting opportunities. Everything runs smoothly online bettors could definitely do worse than opening an account.
