Ballpark: Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati
The MLB All-Star Game is tonight and unlike most sports – the ASG actually matters in baseball.
The winning team gets home park advantage during the World Series, which is a huge edge. With that being said – you can expect a highly contested match-up between the best players in MLB this season.
So, who has the edge in this American League vs. National League match-up?
It’s tough to separate two teams of all-stars and anyone could end up winning with a couple breaks, but based on looking at the rosters I’m convinced the National League will win for the first time since 2012.

Basketball and hockey are over, so we’re going to start providing more MLB picks for our readers. I want to take a look at a market most of you probably aren’t even aware of.
BetOnline posts month-long prop bets each month during the MLB season.
We’re going to take a look at these prop bets and determine which ones are the best bets to make for the month of July. Several of them stand out to me this month.
Highest Home Run Total by any Batter
Bet on Over 9.5 Home Runs (-125)
There has been at least one player to hit 10+ home runs in April, May and June already, so I love the fact we’re getting this line at -125 odds. Batters are starting to heat up too.

Can you believe we’re already through 20% of the MLB regular season?
I figured now would be a great time to take a look at the update MLB futures odds.
We’re going to take a look at the best bets to win the World Series, plus the AL and NL pennants.
So, who have been the big movers since Opening Day 2015?
The New York Yankees (21-13) are 3.0 games ahead of the Rays for the lead in the AL East. The Yankees rank 4th in runs per game (4.85) and 5th in team ERA (3.29). The Yankees also rank 3rd in home runs (43) and the pitchers rank 1st in strikeouts (294).
This is a team getting it done at the plate and on the mound.
The Yankees were 33/1 to win the World...
Every team is in action on Tuesday, although there’s a chance the Orioles game could be postponed again if necessary. In this article I’m going to discuss my best bets for today’s match-ups.
Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox Picks
Best Bet: Red Sox ML -123 at BetOnline
The Blue Jays (9-11) are on a 4-game losing streak and just lost to Boston (11-9) on Monday night (6-5) at Fenway. Clay Buchholz (1-2) is starting for Boston; Drew Hutchinson (2-0) is starting for Toronto.
Hutchinson is 2-0, but he has a 5.48 ERA and has been lit up twice. Buchholz is coming off a 10 SO and 1 ER performance against Tampa Bay – Buchholz now has 29 SO’s in just 22.1 innings.
Pablo Sandoval went 2...
We started our new MLB picks section off on a good note yesterday, as I ended up going 2-0 on my straight bets and 1-0 on my parlay for over 4 units of profit. Let’s see what we can do today!
There are only six games on the schedule today and two of them are in the afternoon.
Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets
Best Bet: Marlins ML +105 at BetOnline
We have a great NL East match-up here, as the Mets (6-3) host the Marlins (3-6). The Mets are on a 4-game winning streak and are off to a hot start, but I’ll be rolling with the Marlins on the road.
There are some concerns, including the fact that Miami just played in Atlanta (6-2 Win) last night. It will be tough to travel to New York and play...
MLB Betting 15/04/15: Orioles host Yankees in AL East
Date: Wednesday, April 15th 2015
Every MLB team is in action on Wednesday – with four games on in the afternoon. My best bet comes in the Orioles vs. Yankees match-up, but I also have two other picks, including a free parlay.
New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles Picks
Best Bet: Over 8.5 Runs +100 at BetOnline
The Baltimore Orioles (4-4) and New York Yankees (3-5) finish up a 3-game series tonight – Baltimore won last night (4-3) and the Yankees (6-5) won the opening game of the series on Monday.
Last night’s game went under the total, but prior to that the H2H series had seen four games go over the total in a row. I expect we’ll get right back on the over trend with the two pitchers...
Every week our editors will provide our readers with free MLB picks. Expect new picks two to three times per week at first, but once the MLB playoffs roll around we’ll provide more analysis. All of our picks come with a complete betting preview.
The MLB regular season is a long grind and betting on baseball requires more discipline than most sports. There’s always another day with 10+ games. There’s never a need to force bets, as that’s when things go from bad to worse.
We don’t just throw picks at you. We want you to understand why we’re betting on a team, so that you can handicap your own games in the future. You’ll learn what statistics to look at, what trends are important and much more from our picks.
MLB picks typically get published the night before the games. This is to ensure everyone has a chance to read the picks before the games start. However, this also means we don’t have confirmed MLB line-ups at the time of publishing.
This isn’t a huge deal in baseball though, as injuries will be known beforehand. If a player sits a game in baseball it isn’t a big deal. Pitchers are rarely scratched late. The biggest difference may be the betting odds you get the next day.
Our picks will be using overnight opening lines and if possible we recommend betting on these lines too. Openers typically move a lot by the next morning, although in some cases waiting for the movement is beneficial.
Each of our daily prediction articles will also provide a free MLB parlay for that day’s action. Our parlays are limited to 2-3 games and we’ll provide reasoning on why we’re betting each leg of the parlay.
