Coverage

The football coverage on TitanBet is about extensive as you can get. With betting markets on a multitude of different leagues and matches, there are literally thousands of different bets that can be struck. The number of individual markets on each game is around the industry standard (roughly 70 for English Championship games) and all of the typical 1X2, Handicap, First Scorer offerings, are available.

TitanBet have recognised the increasing interest in the US sports from a betting perspective, and have a strong selection of markets from over the Atlantic. NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB are all covered, and there are even odds on the college matches.

One area that can be criticised, is the betting offering for combat sports. Boxing appears to be somewhat neglected, and there is no visible sign of MMA. For example, two days out from the fight between boxers Tony Thompson and Ordlanier Solis, there is no market on the TitanBet site. Bet365, SkyBet, Boylesports, Betfred and Paddy Power all offer prices on the outcome of the bout, with some compiling odds on several markets.

Early Horse Racing Prices

The early horse racing odds available with TitanBet, appear to be more than competitive. Taking a snapshot of an eleven runner handicap at Lingfield an hour before the contest began, and looking at five major bookmakers, the 126.8% over-round with Titan Bet, provided was the second best value market, behind Stan James (125.9%).

If the odds accurately reflected each runners implied chance of success, then the book would add up to 100%. However, bookmakers build in profit margins into their odds (referred to as the over-round), and therefore the total sum of the prices of the horse in each race, adds up to well over 100%.

The bigger the total over-round, the poorer the return for the customer, as the odds received do not accurately represent the horse’s probabilities of being successful. Generous odds are a selling point of TitanBet, and the firms markets are extremely competitive across a spectrum of sports. The football odds are very attractive and are further boosted by a ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ concession – providing the top industry prices on a number of selected matches.

Unfortunately, as is regularly the case, decent odds go hand in hand with prohibitive staking limits. Not only do TitanBet provide odds on a plethora of markets, they also facilitate informed betting, by offering extensive statistics on many sports. Powered by Betradar, the statistics section offers information on recent performances, head-to-head results and much more.

The ‘Bet and Watch’ horse racing feature, is becoming increasingly common with the large bookmakers, but is still a nice addition to the site, allowing customers to watch the races in which they have a financial interest.

Poker

The poker offering through TitanBet is impressive, and can be very profitable. TitanPoker are the largest site on the ‘iPoker’ network. The second largest in terms of traffic after PokerStars, the iPoker network brings together a large number of betting sites, providing one arena for poker to be played. This provides more action, with several thousand players often online at the same time.

As players are generally coming through sites which offer a variety of different betting options, many of those competing, are not au fait with the nuances of high level poker, and participate more for recreation purposes. Requiring the customer to place at least five bets, appears a novel new way to provide an alluring bonus to new customers, but at the same time detracts those who simply look to scalp the freebie.

Once the £50 bet has been redeemed, then a further £10 bet is offered as part of the ‘Bet & Watch’ horse racing feature. Furthermore, mobile users can claim a refund of up to £10 on the first losing mobile bet, so the total value of the Bookmaker bonus can reach £70 – one of the best concessions in the industry.

Our Verdict

Those wet behind the ears, novice punters, could do much worse than starting their sports betting careers by using TitanBet. A professionally designed site, an endless number of sports to bet on, generous odds and a decent sign up bonus, ensure many of the right boxes are ticked. The drawbacks of TitanBet are that getting large stakes on at the attractive prices can be an arduous task, and the customer service representatives do not seem as clued up on their offers as the employees of some of their competitors.

The casino section is fairly standard, but the poker scene at TitanBet is impressive and can be useful for novices and more experienced players alike. With a busy poker lobby, it is always easy to get a game, no matter what sort of stake you play with.

The mobile site designed by Titan Bet has to be lauded as one of the smoothest and well-designed on the market. Keeping in line with the sophisticated presentation of the desktop site, the compact app provides all of the same functionality at the users’ fingertips.
