Bonuses? Oh Yes!

There are some very nice bonuses on offer across the site– for all their different offerings – and while we won’t be too specific because they are always changing, we’ll give you an idea of what they have on offer.

For starters there is a nice welcome bonus that kicks in at 50 Turkish Lira and pays out a 25% bonus up to a maximum of 500 TL – not perhaps the most generous out there but still well worth a go. And there are others too. In fact, across the board there were ten different ones on offer at the time of this review

They range from a 20% bonus that comes with combined and multi-bets, to ‘social media bonuses’ (yes, really), bonuses for introducing friends to the site, ‘investment’ bonuses, and all the way through to the more traditional cash bonuses for regular punters.

These, as we have said, will change periodically but they make it their business to offer a lot of varied and attractive bonuses, so this is always well worth checking out – even if it does take a bit of Google Translate to understand the finer points!

A Good-Looking Site, with a Fair Bit of Style

With the plethora of bonuses still swilling around our heads – in a good way – we moved on to the bookie itself and immediately liked what we saw.

First impressions count, and the site has a good look, with a predominately black background complimented by some nice, not-too-garish graphics. It’s also a site that’s very easy to navigate around and has a pleasing design, based on the traditional three-column layout.

The site uses the same theme throughout but it’s the sports betting pages that we’re interested in and, as to be expected, the left sidebar is used to list the betting sports on offer, with each line representing a different sport and indicating the number of markets and live markets available at that moment in time. The exact number and variety of sports is something we’ll come onto later, but it’s well designed and allows the customer to drill down on a country by country basis, and only fills the main body of the page with data once you’ve drilled down to the base level. There can be as many as three levels depending on the country and how it breaks down the different sports and competitions.

To use football (or soccer) as the obvious example, one click on the football icon opens a list – still within the sidebar – which is based mainly on countries, but at the top are a couple entitled ‘internationals’ and ‘international clubs’; these are options for international teams, international football and specific competitions like the UEFA Champions League or the CAF (African) Champions League.

If you click on a country it opens a sub-menu that lists the leagues available, and once you’ve drilled down to the base level of your category it fills the main body of the page with all the betting data you need; presented in the form of a list with individual fixtures detailed on a line-by-line basis.

Each match or event is offered in a single line with some standard information and bets – date and time of fixture, the three-way bet etc – with a number at the end of the line which, if clicked upon, lists all the different bets and markets available for that fixture. And there are a lot – well over 100 for most fixtures. The odds default to decimal form and on the same line is a stats icon, which takes the punter to a page provided by Sportradar, where there are loads of relevant statistics relating to that fixture.

For live events – which are accessed via a link at the top of the page– they offer their customers a really good match tracker type graphic that keeps the punter up to date with the progress of the match in very minute detail. It’s very good indeed. In addition, they offer all the bets and data you would expect to see on a quality site when betting live. NOTE: You need to have signed up to the site to gain access to this live betting service.

The main body of the sports betting page defaults to listings of upcoming football fixtures, with the Turkish Super League – if there are some games imminent – always heading the page, followed by the top European games of that day and the upcoming week.

The right-hand column follows tradition, with the betting slip at the top, and below it are some in-house ads.

All in all, it’s a layout and design that we like and, more importantly, the functionality works very nicely and smoothly.

Loads of Markets – Take Your Pick

MaksatBahis bookmaker offers an excellent range of sports, and they cover the go-to sports for day-to-day bettors through to some obscure sports that still offer the punters some value bets and interesting betting markets, and almost everything in between. At the time of this review they were offering their customers no less than 29 sports:

Football, Basketball, Tennis, Handball, Baseball, Hockey, NFL, Darts, Snooker, Cycling, Motor Sport, Boxing, UFC, Golf, Winter Sports, Football

Despite including the 29 different sports they still manage to offer their punters some quality in-depth coverage, covering, as you would expect, all the well-known leagues, events and competitions, but also loads of lower-level and amateur events that many customers will not have heard of until they appear as a betting option. To use football (soccer) as the obvious example, they cover leagues regarded as the biggest and best in the world – English Premier League, Spanish Primera Division, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A, Turkish Super League etc – but also many lesser known leagues in footballing countries such as Belarus, Armenia, Montenegro and Myanmar.

As with most of the top betting sites, they also offer some top-quality coverage of the big American Sports – NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL – and also the world’s top tennis competitions – US Open, Wimbledon, French Open, WTA tour, Davis Cup etc. Worth noting is that they offer some in-depth coverage of basketball and ice hockey beyond the big American leagues and they go particularly big on another popular European sport, handball.

In terms of odds and value, MaksatBahis bookmaker is most definitely at the right end of the scale. With the industry standard being generally recognised as odds compiled between 105% and 106%, the fact that at the time of writing theirs averaged out at 105.3% mark is really excellent and up there with the best. In truth, their range was wide and went up to 109% and down to as low as 102.9% – so there was some terrific value on offer.

Prefer to Bet on the Go? Of Course You Do

As you would expect, MaksatBahis bookmaker is a fully optimized mobile site and so if you prefer betting on the go – either on your smartphone or tablet – you will find a really good configuration that displays the same information as the desktop site, and which translates perfectly to English (and we assume the other languages available). It works nicely for both iOS and Android and offers a good betting experience in terms of navigation, responsiveness and design. There are no apps available at the present time but given that the mobile optimization works very nicely this in not a major problem. They also can be accessed via Facebook and Instagram.

Depositing? Withdrawing? – Not a Problem

Cash-out is an automated process on MaksatBahis bookmaker, so, in the general scheme of things, they operate at the acceptable end of the scale, with pay-outs usually being processed within 24 hours. At the time of this review, there were no negative comments online regarding MaksatBahis payouts, which is invariably a good sign.

Turkish Facing but East Euro-Friendly

The site is aimed predominantly at the Turkish market and so defaults to Turkish as its base language, but has a ‘toggle’ for English, Russian and Georgian, and translates to each. It uses Turkish Lira as its base currency and, as per normal, defaults to the Euro if funds are deposited through PayPal.

There are some first-hand restricted countries, and their customer services team informed us that the onus is on the customer to only play on MaksatBahis bookmaker if their ‘local authority’ rules permit. At the time of the review, punters from the US and UK were not permitted to bet on the site.

Safe and Secure. What More Can You Ask?

We always say a reasonable gauge of a site’s reliability and security is a quick online search and so it’s a positive sign that there were no adverse comments to be found. Equally, our review rung no alarm bells and it appears a very well-managed and secure place to bet.

We’re also happy to report that our engagement with their customer services team was good. The live chat facility worked nicely, and they answered all of our queries succinctly and quickly. There is also an email address (destek@MaksatBahis.com) where customers can send any questions or queries, and some FAQs which are listed on the site as S.SS.

One slight downside was that we found no evidence of MaksatBahis bookmaker taking seriously their responsible gambling duties. While this may sound counter-intuitive to a site that relies on punters spending their money, we applaud those sites who acknowledge that betting can become problematic for some. Sadly we found no mention of it anywhere on the site.

Our Verdict

First up, the promotions on offer are great – something for everyone – and so there are incentives aplenty to attract punters to MaksatBahis sportsbook, which is always a good start.

We were slightly disappointed by the lack of mentions of responsible gambling and, from a professional viewpoint, that the translation doesn’t extend beyond the main betting pages.

Overall, we found MaksatBahis to be a good site but not in the same league as our top betting sites. Click below for better bookies.
