Bets10 Summary
Bets10 in its current guise, was founded in 2011. This online betting company are owned by Realm Entertainment Ltd and licenced out of Malta. There is definitely some element of control from major European bookmaker Betsson who used to own Bets10 – they indicated on their website they sold ‘their Turkish operation’ to Realm Entertainment in 2010.
In addition to a bookmaker, Bets10 offer odds on horse racing, operate online casino and poker rooms and provide a long list of slot type games.

Website
Whilst writing this review, the Bets10 website loads as either 8bets10.com or 13bets10.com. The number before the domain name is a tactic used by many firms who operate in Turkey, where online gambling is illegal. When the website is blocked by the authorities, the betting firms just put another number in front or after their domain name and redirect traffic. That is what appears to have happened here although on review, the also have a standard url page in addition to the aforementioned two.
The landing page for Bets10 is fairly slick. A dark background, with a black, green and white theme and clear text makes the site easy to navigate around and professional sliding graphics help entice customers into the site.
When landing on the bookmaker, the influence of Betsson is clear to see. The website is very, very similar in terms of layout and content. On the left hand side of the page is the list of sports available and the useful search bar directly above allows customers to quickly access their desired bet/market. The centre of the page is dominated by the live betting and the most popular bets of the day, with the live fayre listing exactly the same games on both websites. The right hand side of the page gives access to live scores, customer service, FAQ’s and the option to switch between odds formats (e.g decimal odds). Customers can log into their accounts at the top of the page and all in all the website is very fluent in design. Where it does not excel, however, is in the speed of loading. The software isn’t the fastest and the markets don’t load as quickly as they should. Although this is a minor gripe, it is noticeable when comparing the site to some rivals.
Bets10 do have a mobile web app which can be accessed by visiting the site from an Android or iOS device. It is quite easy to get around and customers are able to stream live matches when logged into their accounts. There is a small glitch on the app, as when visiting the ‘promos’ section when the language is set to English, a list of promotions appear on the screen in Turkish. Surprising that this error has not been rectified.
Languages
The website can be viewed in English, Turkish, Greek, Spanish and German on a desktop and in English or Turkish on a mobile device
Markets
The market coverage at Bets10 is reasonable, if not spectacular. There are 26 different sports covered (incidentally Betsson offer 28), with the number of markets/bets indicated in brackets next to each sport. Football obviously has the most coverage, and is followed by ice hockey, American football and basketball.
Conventional mainstream sports such as tennis, golf, cricket, boxing and snooker all have events priced up and popular European sports such as handball and bandy also have markets available.
The NFL coverage is very strong. For each game there are overs/unders, first touchdown scorer, specials, total passing yards and much more. There is also an extensive statistics section for each match and the American football betting would have to be considered the shining light of Bets10 service.
Unlike Betsson and most young online betting companies, Bets10 actually have a horse racing section. However, when landing on the horse racing page, users will be disappointed. The offering is purely US and Canadian action, with no UK racing available. This is probably due to the fact that US and Canadian racing is lower maintenance than the action from the UK – there is no fixed odds betting, with the returns determined by a pari-mutuel dividend. There is no requirement for a big trading department to manage liabilities and change prices etc.
Bets10 offer a range of live sports betting, with football, ice hockey, volleyball and basketball covered. Some of the matches are streamed and if there is a live video, it is indicated with a ‘TV’ logo next to the market.
Odds
To make a comparison of how competitive the odds are, it is often best to look at the prices compiled for the English Premier League. The reasoning for this? Well the most money goes on the league and there is the most information regarding team news and statistics. Having the closest to ‘perfect knowledge’, should give the bookmakers the confidence to give their most competitive odds. Looking at the Newcastle v Sunderland betting odds:
- Ladbrokes – 104.4%
- Bets10 – 104.5%
- Skybet – 106.0%
Bets10 perform reasonably well, marginally behind Ladbrokes and ahead of Skybet. The closer the book percentages are to 100%, the more competitive the odds.
Looking at an NFL game with the same bookmakers, there is a slight change in the competitiveness of the odds:
- Skybet – 104.5%
- Bets10- 105.3%
- Ladbrokes – 105.8
Bets10 again ranked third best but were not far off with any of their market rivals. It can be said that their odds are fair, if not market leading.
Customer Services
The customer services vary depending which country customers are signing in from. Those accessing the site in English are only able to communicate with Bets10 via email. Apparently the customer services are manned 24/7, but there is no way to interact via the telephone. For Turkish customers, there is an extra option – live chat. This service is manned from 11am to 7pm daily, but again there is no way for Turkish customers to speak directly to anyone at Bets10.
Promotions
When arriving on the landing page, customers are greeted with a graphic which indicates an offer for new users to have their first deposit doubled. However, there is no clickable link, no terms and conditions or indication of any maximum amount. This is poor. When accessing the site in Turkish, there is a graphic which advertises a 200Lira sign up bonus for customers. Upon request, customer services confirmed that the bonus for customers from around Europe was 70Euros, but again there was no indication of the terms and rollover requirements. Definitely an area for improvement.
Payment Methods
There are a range of different payment methods that can be used to fund Bets10 account.
Having several payment solutions, especially e-wallets, is a positive and enables customers to fund their accounts securely.
Overall
There are definitely some positive aspects to the Bets10 service, most notably good NFL coverage and reasonable odds. However, customer services only contactable via email and difficult to find promotions give the indication that there is still plenty for Bets10 to work on. Their site could also load a little faster. Betsson clearly still have a hand in the Bets10 business, with the odds compilation the same and the design and functioning of the website extremely similar, so there would not be too much incentive for a customer who had an active Betsson account to need a Bets10 one.
