5Dimes Sportsbook Review

5Dimes is a great choice if you are looking to expand your options and add new places to bet. This book accepts US citizens and has good customer service and support to go along with a huge selection of wagering options. They also feature generous bonus offers, a solid reputation built up over the years (the book was established in 1999), reliable payouts, and a nice user interface.

Betting Options

This sportsbook is virtually unmatched as far as wagering options go. One of the comments on the site says the player feels like ‘a kid in a candy store!’ and I can’t disagree after visiting the website. Currently there are thousands of options available, spanning major sports such as American football, soccer, hockey, baseball, tennis, and golf. There are also lines offered on games with lesser followings in the USA such as cricket, snooker and darts. 5dimes also carries lines on major poker tournaments such as the World Series of Poker, and you can even bet on the lotto and stock markets!

5Dimes thrives on offering very aggressive and early lines. For example, the college football season is over 6 months away, and yet there are already markets for some of the major games. There are also NFL regular season win totals posted before the current Super Bowl winner has even been crowned. Futures, props, and adjusted lines are all offered in abundance. Virtually every single game offered has a money line, even with spreads as high as 50 points or more! 5dimes offers ‘two way’ lines on almost all props and futures, which means you can bet a long shot prop at 100/1 or bet against it at 1/150 or so. It is truly incredible to see the massive selection of markets that changes every single day.

This section of the review could really go on for a while, but I can’t end it without mentioning the live betting. 5dimes offers live betting on most major American sports that are on national TV. There are in game props, spreads, totals, and moneylines offered every day on the website. The live betting mostly takes place in the bigger sports such as football and baseball but there are also sometimes live lines on other sports or events.

As a bookmaker with such a huge range of lines, they also offer some truly ‘off the wall’ bets such as high school football. This makes them the place to go if you’re looking for some action that isn’t offered anywhere else.

5Dimes offers some great value to players with its ‘nickel lines’ which are overnight lines dealt at -105/-105 instead of the standard -110/-110. In addition to this, there’s a nice 20% freeplay bonus for all players on their reload. This is good on all deposits of $250 up to $2000. It is offered with the condition that the amount be rolled over 5x before being added to your account. This is not too bad at all and should satisfy most players.

They offer several other bonuses and promotions including deposit bonuses and cash back. For all the most up to date promotions, you can visit the 5Dimes website.

Security and Licensing

This is a secure site and your money is safe there, no matter how high your balance goes. There are currently no licenses in Costa Rica, where 5Dimes is based, but as we mentioned before, the book has been going strong since 1999. It has consistently scored high on many player reviews and also objective, third party sites that have tested the site’s security and reliability. You can trust 5Dimes with your hard earned (or hard won!) money.

Professional vs. Recreational Bettors

5Dimes is a nice choice for professionals, especially those in the USA. It offers high limits and pros are sure to find many soft lines across the myriad options offered every single day. The operator will limit professional players at some point, but their risk tolerance is pretty high, and you will always get paid out as long as you don’t cheat the book or commit fraud.

Recreational players will also find an abundance of great value bets. If you live in the USA and want to bet on a local high school football game, or a small time college football match, you will probably find a market here. Some of the props are clearly geared to smaller players since the limits are sometimes low ($50 or so.) The site is easy to use and will appeal to players looking for speed or simply a good sweat on the night’s games.

5Dimes has a solid track record of payouts stretching back to 1999. Every transaction is treated with the highest security measures in the industry. Players can deposit and withdraw using Credit Card, Person to Person transfer, Cashier’s Check, Bank Wire, Sportsbook Transfer, Bitcoin and Money Order. Check to see which of these options is available in your country. 5dimes offers one free withdrawal per month, and then there are fees that range from $0 up to $80 per withdrawal, depending on the method you use. Check with live support or send them an email for current rates, or give them a call and try their excellent phone support. They are available 24 hrs a day to serve you as a customer.

Overall there is not much to complain about at 5Dimes. They offer an amazing menu of bets, fast and safe payouts, good bonuses, high limits, and a user friendly interface. The only possible gripe is with the sometimes confusing rules on certain props or exotic bets, but the site has just recently updated its rules again to help alleviate this problem. Also, some payout options are limited in some countries, but that is more a function of local governments than the site itself. I would certainly add this sportsbook to my list of places to play, whether you are a high roller or someone first getting into betting.

Best US Bookmaker! Moved to the site from bovada and I am so pleased i did. It is easier to use and a lot better if you are into poker like I am.

  2. Edward Adams

Genuinely would not change a thing.

  3. Joseph Baker

Seen a lot of people saying they are slow at paying out but my experiences have been the complete opposite. They are arguably the fastest and offer the best odds of all major US bettig sites. I bet only on Ice Hockey so dont know if that makes any difference but I am always paid out within 2-3 days max!

great variety of original betting lines for nearly every sporting event. I would say they have the most extensive selection of odds and wager types. They offer alternative run lines for MLB which is fantastic. Also downloaded the Grand Casino app and use it regularly.

Was sceptical at first because the site perhaps doesn’t look as good as the major players, however having signed up a year ago I can see why it is so popular. High odds, great range of bets and top quality customer service make the site a joy to bet with.

I like the web design of 5dimes. A lot of people seem to be saying its not fancy enough but it does the job. I would not contemplate going elsewhere.

I aint really a full-time gambler so I love the that you only need to wager 50 cents to bet at 5dimes. Also the customer service is always available should you need some help like I did with welcome bonus offer. 4 out of 5 for me.

  8. Carl Green

Bovada is easier to pay out with but 5dimes has the best odds.

  9. Charles Carter

No complaints. Very favorable odds and they are posted early for all you form geeks. They seem to cover about every sport on the planet and are extremely reliable. The reason I would give 5dimes four out of five, and not five, is because they aren’t very big on bonuses or promotions. Although this might be a good thing cause it means they focus on a great service rather than gimmicks and false promises. I would say sign up if you are looking for a good site for mainly NFL betting.

I like to claim my winnings by cheque and couldnt find any other sportsbooks that offered this. Bit annoying how the minimum pay out is $1000 but I also use Western Union so have never had any problems.

  11. Donald Scott

Mobile site doesnt have a very friendly userface. Apart from that I think 5dimes is great.

  12. Dooth Cox

First time deposit has to be between $50 and $250. Think its important that you know that. I think it is well worth it though as the site is superb.

  13. Brian Cooper

If only the site was a tad easier to use then 5dimes would be perfect for betting on the NBA.

  14. Mark Clark

Hate writing reviews but 5Dimes is a good betting site. I play their poker tournaments weekly and also use the sportsbook. The odd maybe could be hire.

Used 5dimes for ages without any problems. However my gambling got a bit too much after I lost my job. Had about ten different accounts and had to cancel them all. 5dimes was the hardest to cancel. They made me email them and then they had to phone me. Apparently they dont normally do this but I had some credit in my account that I couldnt take out. Got it resolved in the end and the customer service team were very friendly in my experience. Would recommend the site cause it is good overall.

  16. Laura Miller

Too much info on the homepage. Couldn’t work out how to sign up.

  17. Steven King

Wouldnt let me sign up as I didnt have a Zip Code? maybe the site dont work for UK betting.

  18. Mary Wilson

Site isn’t much to look at. Good enough odds but not for me.
