Rockets To Turn Screw In Western Conference Finals

The Houston Rockets proved their post-season by levelling the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors with a brilliant performance on the road. Mike D’Antoni’s men were rocked by the Warriors’ fast start to the game, trailing 12-0 in the early stages of the contest at Oracle Arena. However, the visitors were able to rally to take a lead into the break as James Harden found his from distance. Like all true champions Golden State issued a response themselves to pull ahead once again as Steph Curry matched the performance on his counterpart, seemingly nailing every shot from the perimeter. The counterpunch from Steve Kerr’s side would have been enough to floor most of...

Celtics To Regain Upper Hand In Eastern Finals

LeBron James inspired the Cleveland Cavaliers to level the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. The 32-year-old was at the peak of his powers at Quicken Loans Arena, scoring 44 points to guide his side to a nine-point victory. Cleveland made a fast start to the contest and held a 19-point lead at times in the second quarter. The Celtics were able to rally in the second half to draw within seven points, although underwhelming performances from Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart put them under pressure. LeBron received support throughout the night from his team-mates as Kyle Korver, JR Smith and George Hill all had their moments from distance. It allowed the 32-year-old to pick his...

Warriors To Continue Dominant Run To NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors stamped their authority on the Western Conference Finals by dominating the Houston Rockets in game three of the series. The Rockets hit back after their defeat in game one with an emphatic performance at Toyota Center. Questions were asked of Steph Curry after his underwhelming display. However, the two-time MVP silenced his critics with an outstanding display to put the Warriors back in command of the series. Curry top scored for Golden State with 35 points, finding his form from the field after struggling with a one-in-eight display in his last outing. Worryingly for Houston and the teams remaining in the playoffs, the 30-year-old appears to be back to full fitness,...

Will Cavaliers Level Eastern Finals In Game Four?

The Cleveland Cavaliers roared back into the Eastern Conference Finals by defeating the Boston Celtics 116-86 at Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavs entered game three in a must-win scenario, having lost the opening two matches of the series on the road. LeBron James and company rose to the task, seeing off Brad Stevens’ men with ease to get themselves back into the series. Boston were off the pace from the start of the contest as their defense struggled throughout, while their shooting from distance was a huge issue. The Celtics had issues on the road in the opening two rounds of the playoffs and are now 1-5 in the post-season away from the TD Garden. Resilience has been the theme of their season...

Warriors To Respond To Rockets Onslaught

The Houston Rockets bounced back from their defeat in game one of the Western Conference Finals with a resounding performance to defeat the Golden State Warriors. The Rockets struggled to match the accuracy of Golden State from the field as Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson put them to the sword. However, Houston put on an offensive clinic in game two, putting 127 points on the board. Mike D’Antoni’s men were well below-par outside of James Harden in their shooting from the field. The response was led by Eric Gordon, who came off the bench to score 27 points. Gordon made 16 of his 29 shots from the field, including an incredible feat of six of his nine three-pointers. Harden was his consistent...

Will Celtics Continue Surge To NBA Finals?

The Boston Celtics put forward a fine performance to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in game two of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavs responded from their loss in game one with a fine effort in the opening quarter. LeBron James led a counterpunch as the visitors took an early lead in the contest. He scored 21 points in the first 12 minutes of the game and Tyronn Lue’s men held a healthy advantage heading into the second half at the TD Garden. However, the Celtics rallied through Terry Rozier, who was the integral part in their surge in the third. Boston scored 36 points to rock the Cavs before taking the lead. From that point onwards Brad Stevens’ side were in complete control of the...

Here is how our Tips Work!

Here at SportsBettingOnline, we would like to offer something special to our players, weekly free picks for the day’s best NBA matchups. With the NBA in full swing, I’m here to offer you some great picks a couple times a week.

I’m Joe Franklin, I’ve been betting sports for over 10 years and I have been a profitable NBA bettor for as long as I can remember. I use many factors when deciding which teams to back each day, and one of the most important is choosing the correct sportsbook. We’ve listed out top 5 picks below.

The most important aspect of NBA Betting is keeping up on the latest injuries, often times injuries are not known until closer to tip off and a big injury can send the line in another direction.

I also, do my homework. The NBA is my life during the regular season as I am watching games or researching picks. I read local reports from writers all across the country and I am up to date on the latest happenings.

I understand the team chemistry and the frenetic pace of this year’s lockout shortened season. Teams are tired and vulnerable more often, keeping track of team chemistry and fatigue are essential. In addition, I’ll be posting the best line I can find along with my picks to give our readers, a great bet and a good price!

How it works:

A couple times a week I will post a few plays for that night’s NBA action, depending on how much a like a certain play, I will bet a set number of units.

I don’t like to differentiate too much from the amount I bet, so my selections will usually only be for 1 or 2 units per play. A unit is your standard bet amount for your bankroll, be sure to follow a bankroll strategy that works for you, this usually only risking 2% to 5% of your bankroll on any given day.

I’ll post the plays at least a few hours before game time and recommend a reputable sportsbook with the best line. In addition to that, I’ll post my win/loss record and my net units for the season.

I’m going to start with a bankroll of 100 units. So if my bankroll is $1000, then I will have 100 $10 units to wager with. After each night of games, I’ll update my current bankroll to see how we have performed to date. I’ll use the following format:

Starting Bank: 100
Current Bank: 100
Profit / Loss:

If you wish to send me questions, comments or feedback, just send a mail to joe at sbo.net

Best of luck with all your picks this season. Thanks!
