6.40 Kempton – You N Me

K R Burke second just two runners down to Kempton on Wednesday night, and his runner You N Me is the selection here at Sports Betting Online. The Footstepsinthesand filly made just a satisfactory debut, but should appreciate the step up in trip and the initial experience will not be lost on her. The race looks fairly open, and she is available at odds of 6.00Bet €100 to win €6005/1Bet £100 to win £600+500Bet $100 to win $6005.00Bet HK$100 to win HK$6005.00Bet Rp100 to win Rp600-0.2000Bet RM100 to win RM600.

A relatively weak 11.00Bet €100 to win €110010/1Bet £100 to win £1100+1000Bet $100 to win $110010.00Bet HK$100 to win HK$110010.00Bet Rp100 to win Rp1100-0.1000Bet RM100 to win RM1100 shot on debut at Carlisle over 6 furlongs, You N Me ran to a Racing Post rating of just 55, finishing 4th beaten 6 lengths. That race has worked out particularly well however, with the winner and third since both going on to score again. Was outpaced as the tempo quickened that day, and pedigree offers hope that the step up to 7 furlongs should suit.

Karl Burke’s 2 year olds tend to improve an absolute bundle from first time to second, and he rarely puts the gun to their head early on at home. The North Yorkshire trainer’s second time out 2 year olds who did not win on debut are 55/273 (20.15%) for £126.43 LSP, giving an A/E of 1.62.

The market leader is the Marcus Tregoning trained Miss Blondell, a filly who has the best form in the race. She ran green on debut at Goodwood, but showed clear ability and is feared. However, at the odds You N Me represents the value.

7.10 Kempton – Return Ace

Return Ace is a fairly short price at 2.50 to win the 7.10 3 year old maiden at Kempton, but even at odds of 2.50Bet €100 to win €2503/2Bet £100 to win £250+150Bet $100 to win $2501.50Bet HK$100 to win HK$2501.50Bet Rp100 to win Rp250-0.6667Bet RM100 to win RM250, James Fanshawe’s runner looks to represent value. She went close to scoring on debut and should benefit from the step up in trip.

An 11.0 shot on debut over 9.5 furlongs at Wolverhampton, Return Ace showed up well before getting momentarily outpaced. She finished her race with a wet sail and the extra yardage will definitely suit today. James Fanshawe’s runners have a great record on the all-weather at this time of year; his runners from June-August are 43/210 (20.48%) for £14.56 LSP and an A/E of 1.34. Breaking that down further and only backing his first or second favourites would produce results of 33/90 (36.67%) for £39.56 LSP and an A/E of 1.47.

The second favourite Shaw Ting is by Winker Watson, who was a sprinter when he raced himself. Has only had one start over 12 furlongs but didn’t appear to stay, and this filly is exposed having had 7 starts.
