Fazza to Dazzle at Redcar
3.30 Redcar – Fazza
Fazza has run a few solid races recently and could be ready to strike now dropped in grade. Edwin Tuers 8 year old has won 7 times and been placed on 10 further occasions from 56 starts, and this represents his easiest task of recent times.
Ran in a 0-85 last time out but drops to 0-70 this time around and the competition won’t be nearly as fierce. Finished a creditable 5th of 8 on soft ground, and the sounder surface should suit. Edwin Tuer’s runners off for 8-21 days and 10/1 or shorter are 25/114 (21.93%) for a £43.25 LSP, giving an A/E of 1.65. Fazza’s form backs this up, as the horse is 7/33 when off for 8-21 days and 0/23 off all other breaks.
Has raced over shorter for most of career but has finished over second over 10f at Pontefract and this course is a fairly easy one at Redcar. Drawn stall 6, he is likely to sit midfield and is likely to make his challenge late on.
With Valantino Oyster an absentee, San Cassiano is likely to press forward with Hussar Ballard and make the pace.
