Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday Nov 8th Tips

NFL Week 10 Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars +3 OvUn 42.5

Thursday, November 8th. TV: 8:20 NFL Network

The Colts are riding high after an historic win for Andrew Luck. The rookie broke the NFL record for passing yards thrown by a rookie in a single game, with 433. He led the Colts to victory in an inspired performance, and also threw two touchdowns in the 23-20 win over Miami last Sunday.

The Jaguars come into the game as one of the worst teams in the league, and though they have made strides in the past several weeks, they still have not translated into victories. In fact, the only victory the Jaguars have this season was against the Colts, all the way back in Week 4. The Jaguars only had 279 yards of offense against Detroit last week, and have been outscored 126 to 34 at home this season. They again will be with Pro Bowl running back, Maurice Jones-Drew normally a key contributor on offense.

The Line

This one opened at pk, but quickly moved in favor of the Jaguars +3 as bets poured in on Indianapolis. The total has not moved from the opening number of 42.5.

The Play

Sunday was an especially important victory for the Colts, and a memorable one for Colts Head Coach, Chuck Pagano. He is currently sidelined with cancer, but hopes to be back on the field by the end of the season. Though, the Colts match up especially well against a Jaguars team that may still be without top corner Rasheed Mathis, we are liking Jacksonville’s chances in this game.

Heads could roll sooner rather than later for Mike Mularkey and his staff, and this is the perfect primetime opportunity to show his worth to the franchise. Sometimes teams that are playing for nothing have the most to lose from a front office standpoint. Also, the Jaguars offense has gotten better since the start of the season, and Gabbert seems to finally be getting into a rhythm with rookie wide out Justin Blackmon.

We’ll take the home dog Jags! Jacksonville +3
