Milosbet Sports Review

Not Approved by SBO.net

Milosbet Sports Summary

Milosbet sports is one of several large Turkish bookmakers who defy the Turkish government’s orders and offer their services to residents of the country. They do so by regularly changing their web address and by hanging their license in Curacao. At first glance, Milosbet looks to have a professional set up, with betting on Sports, Live Sports, Casino, Live Casino, Games, Virtual Sports, and Financial Betting.

They have been in operation since 2014 and appear to be a legitimate and functioning business that bettors can trust. In this review, we delve deeper into Milosbet’s service to determine whether everything is as positive as it appears at face value.

The Bookmaker

The Milosbet website screams of a legitimate operation, as time and care have clearly been spent ensuring that the user sees an easy to navigate, professionally designed and enticing bookmaker. Slick graphics are eye-catching on the site which populates the full width of a laptop or desktop screen. This is nice as it ensures that the site isn’t crowded and bettors can be furnished with significant amounts of information (such as sports, odds, games etc.), without the site being overbearing.

In the top right-hand corner of the screen, customers can flick between a variety of different odds types, including; decimalfractionalAmerican, Hong Kong, Malay, and Indo. The website can be viewed in either English or Turkish and clients can actually choose from which layout they would prefer; modern or classic. The modern view consists of a horizontal menu bar that can be scrolled through. This lists all of the different sports available (they are accompanied by an icon). Underneath is another menu bar which then breaks down the countries/competitions for each sport, and the odds and bet types appear in the centre of the screen. The classic view is one that most seasoned bettors will be more familiar with, and to this eye, it is much more straightforward and easier to understand. The list of sports and sub-sections can be found down the left-hand side of the page, and in the middle of the screen, there are several options depending on what the client wants to view. They can go with Event View, Dashboard, Live Multiview, Live Calendar or Results.

The bet slip is located on the right-hand corner of the screen and customers can see a variety of promotions on the graphics below. One mistake that Milosbet makes, which is very common amongst bookmakers whose site’s default is not in the English language, is to leave in the native banners and promotions which have the foreign language text when the language of the page is switched to English. This is, however, a minor gripe and overall Milosbet’s website scores very highly for functionality, design, options, and usability.

Sign Up Bonus

Milosbet sports have a variety of different promotions available, but their flagship sign-up concession is a 50% bonus up to a maximum of 400 TL. The minimum deposit is 100TL. The Turkish firms do things a little different to most of their European counterparts when it comes to rollovers etc – there is a requirement for the bettor to turnover their main deposit 1.3 times and the bonus amount 11 times at minimum odds of 2.00 on double bets. At least one selection in the double must have minimum odds of 1.80.

In order to receive the bonus, the customers must contact support immediately after funding their account for the first time, before they strike any wagers. Failure to do this may result in bettors forfeiting any potential bonus. The rollover requirements for this bonus are stringent and not favourable to bettors.

Sports And Markets

With so many bookmakers in operation these days, the pressure to provide a significant offering of different sports is huge. Milosbet sports steps up to the plate and then some, by offering 38 sports as well as 7 e-sports – an extremely good variety for bettors to choose from. The most popular betting events have their sports icon in colour, and these sports include; football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, baseball, and American football. Milosbet lists the number of different bets for each sport in brackets, and football is comfortably on top. Aside from all of the ‘usual suspects’, Milosbet provide odds for sports such as Pesapallo, Cross-Country Skiing, Trotting, Speedway and more.

The vast majority of money with most betting sites is placed on football matches from around the world. At the time of review, all eyes are on the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the summit of Mount Everest for any professional footballer. With all eyes on the tournament, we can expect some good odds right? Unfortunately, this is where Milosbet sports falls short. The competitiveness of a bookmaker’s football odds are usually determined by the total book percentage of their 1X2 market, and the average odds for the matches in the group stage were at around 108% (a book of 100% would represent no inbuilt margin for the bookie). This is well off the top firms in Europe and around the world (typically 101.5-103%) and the majority of other established firms (104-106%). The Over/Under for total goals is slightly more generous, at around 107%, but the odds throughout are not particularly competitive. What Milosbet lack in value, they make up for in their choice for bettors. For each game, there is an extensive number of additional bet types, from First Scorer to 1st/2nd Half Total Goals, First Booking, Last Goalscorer and more.

Looking at tennis and again a common theme recurs – excellent coverage. There are odds for matches from 18 different countries around the globe. Again, most matches compile to 108%. It seems like Milosbet sports like that total book percentage as they also utilise it for their baseball matches. As well as betting on the outcome of a game, clients can strike wagers on handicap (spread) betting, score betting and much more. Even on the smaller sports, the margin is typically the same. Looking at badminton games from the Malaysia Open, the odds are again 108%.

E-sports fanatics have the option of several games to choose from; Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: GO, Call Of Duty, Hearthstone, Starcraft and Starcraft 2. The win odds compile to, yes you guessed it, 108% and for each different game type, there are odds for matches from all around the world.

On reflection, the odds for the minor sports are pretty competitive when compared industry wide. However, the major sports which generate most of the turnover, are fairly uncompetitive and this could be problematic when dealing with bettors who have a variety of choice and the option to compare odds.

In addition to all of the pre-game action, Milosbet sports also have an extensive live betting offering for clients to get their teeth stuck into. For live matches of major sports, customers can stay very well informed as on top of all the odds on offer, Milosbet provides live stats and a game commentary displayed in a graphic on the right hand side of the screen that shows dangerous attacks, cards, and where possession is etc.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Customers can fund their Milosbet account in either Turkish Lira, US Dollars or Euro. The available payment options do depend on the currency used. For Euros and US Dollars, the only option is TLnakit – a Turkish e-wallet. Those using Turkish Lira also have that option, but can also fund their accounts using:

  • Bank transfer
  • CEP Bank
  • QR Transfer
  • Papara
  • FabioPay

The two ways in which customers can withdraw their funds are via a bank transfer or through FabioPay. It takes 12 hours to process either type of payment.

On their site, Milosbet displays the Bitcoin logo, suggesting that they accept Bitcoin as a method of payment. However, on deeper investigation, it turns out that they intend to, but do not yet have the hook up in place.

Restricted Countries

Despite there being the option to sign up from every country around the world when on the registration page, at present, customer services informed that only Turkish residents are currently eligible to use the bookmaker. When trying to access the site from the USA, the page is blocked.

Customer Service

Milosbet sports have manned their staff 24/7 and customer services can be reached at info@milosbet.com. Alternatively, players can use the live chat function, which can be accessed by clicking on the icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Their FAQ section is divided into two; financial transactions and betting glossary. It suffices but doesn’t cover sport specific questions, that a bettor may have.

In addition to contacting representatives through the bookie, there are also avenues through which players and interested parties can converse with staff at Milosbet. The firm are up to speed with social media and technology and have dedicated Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube accounts.

Mobile Betting

Milosbet’s mobile-optimised app loads automatically when visited on a handheld device. It encompasses the whole screen and utilises a scrolling menu bar so that clients can quickly flick through the list of sports to find their desired markets. Customers can use the search bar at the top right-hand corner of the page to get a shortcut to their desired market. Much like the main desktop website, the mobile site has been very well put together. Loading is extremely fast and navigation is extremely simple. Whether clients are using an iOS, Android or Windows device, they can get their bets on quickly and efficiently.

Verdict

Clearly an established operation with extensive choices for bettors. However, the odds could be improved.
