Website

There is nothing particularly flashy about the LSbet Sports website – no landing page, just straight onto the bookmaker. A black, grey, green and white theme is utilised and works fine. On the left-hand side of the page is a list of the most popular tournaments/leagues/competitions and directly beneath is the links to the sports on offer. The centre of the page plays host to sliding graphics, advertising promotions and forthcoming matches and is accompanied beneath with the popular bets which are listed by sport. The right-hand side of the page has the bet slip, live sports (by event) and more graphics. A pretty standard and easy to navigate layout.

Languages

The platform is available in several languages – English, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.

Markets

In total, there are 20 different sports for users to bet on, with a separate page for ‘enhanced specials’. As per most bookmakers, football, ice hockey, tennis and basketball are the most popular, but there is plenty of choice with odds available for cricket, cycling, floorball, golf and boxing etc.

The depth of the football coverage is impressive. In total there are odds on matches from 26 countries around the world, including more obscure locations such as Qatar, Ecuador, Azerbaijan and Kuwait. In England, there are prices down to the Conference North and Conference South and in Germany, the lowest league covered is the Bundesliga 3. Forty-eight hours from English Premier League games, there were around 68-70 additional bet types for each game. This was less than football specialist BetVictor (90-100) but better than SkyBet (60-70). There are first scorer markets, Asian handicaps, correct score, most goals, home/away and much more.

Alongside football, basketball seems to be LSbet’s other focus. In addition to international competitions, there are 17 countries covered. Games from smaller leagues such as the Australian NBL and the Mexican LNBP carry 9 extra bet types, while the most popular competition, the NBA, offering 20-22 per match.

Odds for volleyball matches can be found in 9 countries, whilst there are just 5 countries covered under the ice hockey banner. NHL matches are priced up, with an extra 12 bets for each match.

For a new and relatively small bookmaker, the sports coverage is very good.

Odds

When odds are equated to percentages and are added together, they produce a ‘total book’ percentage. With no inbuilt profit margins in the bookmakers’ odds, they would be compiled to 100% – therefore a figure as close to 100% as possible, is desirable.

The odds for the English Premier League are competitive, with the odds compilers working to 105-105.5% books. There is less value in the English Championship – 108-108.5%, and the odds are poorer in League One – 110-110.5%.

Tennis matches typically work to 110% books, which is towards the higher side of the industry standard but is still acceptable.

The NBA basketball games work to 105% books which is impressive, and the European leagues are a little higher at around 108-109%.

Overall, LSbet Sports do not compile market leading odds, but they are generally competitive when compared across the industry.

Promotions

Attractive promotions can be a key factor in enticing new customers and LSbet has clearly understood this. Not only do they have a bonus for new customers, but there are other concessions available to current clients, giving them a reason to use the site.

The sign-up concession gives customers the opportunity to claim a bonus of 100% up to €120 on their first deposit (minimum deposit €20). Once the customer has funded their account, they can receive the bonus by contacting customer services. This welcome bonus varies from country to country, so check what’s on offer where you live.

There are various rollover requirements depending on which country customers are residing in ranging from 4-8 times the deposit plus bonus amount. Single bets must be placed at 2.00 or bigger and multiple bets must have selections with odds of no less than 1.50 . Only the first €50 of each bet counts towards the bonus and the rollover requirement must be satisfied within 90 days of first deposit. While it is not exactly an easy process to extract the bonus from LS bet, their terms are not as stringent as some bookmakers nowadays who make it nigh on impossible for customers to recover any of their initial stake or bonus money.

There are plenty more bonuses to be found at LSbet, including a €50 free bet for customers when they place 8 in-play single bets, bonuses of up to €200 (50%) on basketball bets which involve 3 picks or more, and €50 for tennis bettors when they place 8 in-play single bets. There are also enhanced odds for football bets (trebles etc.) on a regular basis. Check the website for the full list of excellent free bets and bonuses.
